It was such a beautiful moment when everyone started singing this chorus a capella. I felt the waves of community and understanding drowning over the crowd. As I’m sure we all have experienced that piercing stereotypical belittlement “isn’t that a party school” questioning the academic integrity of our university. Captured in the song of my people, we’ll show em all we are living young, wild, and free.
At first, I get mad when he yells at me
But then I realize that it’s helping me to be tougher. Tears don’t help anyone in big girl land…
